On September 17, 2023, Mr. David "Dave" Rebers gently passed away, leaving an unfillable void behind. Born on October 13, 1937, Dave was a man of strong faith, dedication, and heartwarming kindness. His life journey was marked by the teachings of Jesus, the love for his family, and his joy in simple pleasures.

Dave was predeceased by his father, David Rebers, his mother, Hulda Rebers, and his brothers, Milton, Roger, and Donald Rebers. These losses were significant, yet Dave carried their memories as treasures, inspiring his loving and compassionate spirit.

His life will continue to be celebrated and cherished by his daughter, Sandra Rebers; step-daughter, Jenny Moretter; step-sons, Travis and Jeremie Calvin. His legacy will also live in the hearts of his beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Mackenzie, and Matthew Moretter, as well as Autumn, Dominick, and Paige Calvin.

Dave was a dedicated attendee of Our Lady of the Prairie Church. His faith was his north, guiding his every step, and he found comfort and happiness in going to church and seeing his friends. Farming, horse riding, and walking were his favorite means of keeping active, reflecting his love for the outdoors and nature.

Dave was best known for his warm, kind, and honest personality. He was a lover of making desserts with the products of his farm and a dedicated reader of the Bible. Dave always put Jesus first in his life, a lesson he generously shared with everyone around him.

Among his greatest accomplishments, he cherished most the birth of his daughter, Sandra. He was proud of his family, the life he built, and the farm cats who will miss him dearly. In Dave's memory, let's remember his teachings, celebrate his life, and hold our loved ones a little closer.
