It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. David Pittman on February 17, 2024. David came into this world on August 20, 1962, and throughout his remarkable journey, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who know him.
David was predeceased by his beloved wife, Goldie Pittman, whose memory he held dear after her departure. He is survived by his sons, Samuel and Robert Foster, his brother, Morris Pittman, and his sister, Lana Detherage. His legacy continues to inspire through his grandchildren, Alexander, Brittany, Jadyn, Sam, Hunter, Abby, Sophie, Bailey, Kristie Latool, and Damon.
A man of simple pleasures, David was a passionate supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed engaging in poker games with friends and family, a pastime that facilitated many joyous moments. Armed with a love for travel, David upheld a tradition of visiting Disney World, a favorite vacation spot that hosted countless family memories.
David’s life was marked by the vitality of his love for family and his resilience in the face of adversity. One of his proudest accomplishments was meeting the love of his life, Goldie. He believed in the power of love and encouraged those around him to explore the world with an open heart.
His teachings, memories, and love will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him. His loss is deeply felt, but we take solace in knowing that his life was filled with love, lived well, and true to his values. We honor his memory and continue to learn from his wisdom.
