It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of David "Pete" Pedersen on October 3, 2023. David's life was marked by compassion, faith, and dedication to serving others.

David was predeceased by his beloved parents, Don and LaVerne Pedersen, and his sister, Kathleen Maloy. His memory lives in the hearts of his wife, Sandra, son, Matthew, and daughter, Ashleigh, along with their spouses Gesina and Peter. David's legacy of love and kindness will further be kept alive by his three grandsons, Anders, Andrew and Jason.

David's life was enriched by his relationships with his loved ones and the deep connections they shared.  He was loved by his many nieces and nephews with whom he enjoyed spending time.

In 1971, David married Sandra, marking the beginning of a journey filled with love and companionship. David was a loyal attendee at the Living Savior Lutheran Church in Tualatin, Oregon, where his faith played a significant role in teaching Sunday School, Bible Classes, and as a Stephen Ministry Leader.

David loved dessert, the Dodgers, the Washington Huskies, and recreational activities like golf and traveling. He always had a cause close to his heart, particularly the Stephen Ministries. His nurturing spirit and commitment to service made a significant impact on everyone around him.

David's legacy will forever be one of faith, love, kindness, and devoted service to others. He touched countless lives with his warmth, compassion, and generosity. We invite all who knew and loved David to a memorial service on October 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Living Savior Lutheran Church.

We remember David as a man of deep conviction, steadfast in his commitment to his Savior and eager to serve others.
