David's obituary
David was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 28, 1953. He immigrated to Edmonton, AB with his parents and three younger brothers in 1970. David graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After a long-distance courtship, David and Helen married in 1980. They enjoyed almost forty years of blissful marriage. David worked as a Cost Engineer, and he and his family lived in various cities in North America throughout his career. They eventually settled in Calgary, AB in 1988. David worked hard to support his family, and he was particularly proud of his three beautiful children. David had a strong Christian faith that was evident in his actions and relationships with others. David will be most remembered for his sense of humor (dad jokes), his generosity, and his selfless heart. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who know him.
Besides his loving wife Helen, David is survived by his son Jason Park, daughter-in-law Julie Lee, and grandson Elias Park; his son Jeremy Park, and daughter-in-law Yoorim Ko; and his daughter Joanne Park, and son-in-law Gavin Hodges, who all live in Calgary, AB.
