David's obituary

David Bruce Noaker II went home to be with our heavenly Father Monday, October 4th. David was raised in Ellet mostly, but he also spent a lot of his growing years in Hartville, Ohio at his maternal grandparent’s home who preceded him in death (Charles and Margaret Blakney). Like his maternal grandmother, he loved playing canasta and loved even more channeling her spunk and competitiveness.

David was a proud Army Veteran and advocate for the POW and those missing in action. He was also a born-again Christian and was saved at the age of 24 by Pete O’Donnell. David felt at home at Community Baptist Temple where Pete’s son, Mark is Pastor. Many of the members of the Church were very close to David’s heart whom he felt were family. Mr. Rick Wetzel is one of those members that has been a mentor, friend, and confidant to David for many years. His service as well as many others will forever be remembered by David’s family with appreciation and gratitude.

David has been attending Stark State Community college where he was striving to earn a degree to become a drug counselor. David’s ability to connect with others through his outgoing personality and love for God and Service would have made him a natural. David had a huge heart and wanted nothing more but to be a light for someone else and lead them to Christ. Thank you to Haven of Rest Ministries for always being a refuge and support for David when he needed it.

David’s most proud moment is becoming a father to Alli Noaker, who he is survived by. She was the light of his life and his purpose (outside of God) for striving to be a better man. He is also survived by his parents, Carol (Roger) Armstrong, Dave (Cyndi) Noaker; sisters, Krystal Noaker, Janie Gomez; stepbrother, Ryan Armstrong; paternal grandmother, Grace Noaker; nephews; aunts; uncles; many cousins and friends.
