David was a proud veteran who served his country with honor and dedication as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force for 20 years, a tenure that stands as one of his greatest achievements. Not only a service to his nation, his military career allowed his charismatic personality to shine through, making him a beloved figure within his unit.
Known for his quick wit and endless humor, David was described by many as a 'jokester', who had a knack for turning any situation around with his infectious laughter. His zest for life was contagious and his embodiment of happiness, a beacon for those who knew him.
He was a firm believer in the golden rule, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This principle guided his life and colored his interactions with others. Known for his selflessness, David would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, making him a pillar of support and kindness within his community.
David is survived by his adoring spouse, Betty Newberry. His memory will continue to live on through his beloved daughters, Stephanie Ott, Jennifer Starner, and Barbara Winkler. His spirit will also be carried on by his cherished granddaughters, Ciarra, Gabrielle, and Carolyn Ott, as well as Paige, Paris, and Paytn Starner. The love and laughter he provided will echo through generations, ensuring his spirit remains alive within those he has left behind.
David lived a full life, peppered with laughter, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and country.
