David's obituary

David John Nascimbeni, 87 known as "Dave" passed away at Hosparus Louisville, Kentucky, Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Dave an only child was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to John and Mary Nascimbeni. He was a 1952 graduate of of Springfield Conservatory of Music and Classical High School. He went on to Syracuse University, New York earning a Bachelor degree with dual majors in Music and Education followed by a Masters in Educational Administration.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kaye Mc Glothin Nascimbeni. His children, Katherine (Regis) Griffin, Bruce (Sandra Cardona) Nascimbeni, Susan Gwen, Melinda (Mark) Enomoto. His adoring grandchildren, Kelly, Dylan, Kendall, Devon, Ichiro, and Aiko. Also, by his beloved 87 year old cousin, Virginia Mc Greevy of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Dave enjoyed all games and was an expert card player, devising his own Bridge system of play. He was always ready to play a hand of Bridge or a contest with an Italian deck of cards.

A man of many talents, Dave played multiple roles during his fruitful and productive life but his first love was always music. As a student at Syracuse University he was one of five selected by Aaron Copland to study musical composition. Later in life he played concerts in Europe as well as the US. In his last years he was most happy playing in church and giving small informal concerts at home for friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held December 17, 2022, 10am at St Francis in the Fields, 6710 Wolf Pen Branch Road, Harrods Creek, Kentucky, 40027. In memory donations may be made to Hosparus Louisville.
