David's obituary

Sgt. Mitts of Hammond, Oregon was an avid hunter and fisherman who joined the Army in 1999, the same year he graduated from high school. He was loved for his good humor, and remembered for his passion for hunting and fishing and his penchant for peanut butter, cheese and pickle sandwiches. It is said that he was a man who lived by a simple code, give respect, get respect, and appreciate your family. David and his wife whom he met in high school were expecting a child when he was killed. The child was named Landon David Mitts , but he died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. He was buried next to his dad. David was 24.
