David's obituary
David Allen Miltenberger,72, of Denver, Colorado died 9/22/21 in St. Helens, Oregon.
He died in hospice after a long battle with dementia and copd.
David was born, raised, and lived in Denver until the last few years of his life.
He attended school in Denver and Nebraska, returning to Denver to attend Mapleton H.S.
He then became an Airborne Ranger with the 82nd Div. US Army during the Viet Nam era.
Upon his return to Denver, he worked in trades in the trucking industry and as a drywaller.
He married Jeanine Rose in 1982. They had 2 sons, Lee and James. They resided in the North Denver neighborhood of Globeville, where he was from.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, cooking, and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Gene, his father Alex, his step-father James, his brothers Dennis and Donald, and also his son Lee.
He's survived by his sister Olivia Jacobus, his wife Jeanine, and his son James.
Very much loved by his family, we will miss him tremendously!
