David's obituary
The son of Leonard "Pete" and Barbara Morgan (Keil), David was born on July 22, 1950, in Eugene Oregon, but grew up in Billings, Montana, He was the grandson of Press Morgan and the great-great-grandson of Pierre Berger, who led the original group of Metis to settle the Lewistown area in Montana. After graduating from Billings Senior High School in 1969, he moved to Denver, CO. He married Lynda Perrin on October 16th, 1971 in Denver, CO, and had three children: Lenny, Jared, and Crystelle. He married Jennifer Brook on Dec 19, 1987, in Denver, CO, and had two children: Matthew and Heather.
Davis worked as a laborer and forklift operator at various factories, warehouses, and manufacturing plants. He worked for several companies without changing locations before retiring, starting with Mountain Bell Phone Co (Manufacturing), which was sold to AT&T, which was sold to Lucent Technologies, which was sold to Avaya, from which he retired. He enjoyed relaxing at home and watching his vast movie and TV show collection. His hobby was music, and he was skilled with the piano, guitar and dabbled in other instruments such as the drums, banjo, and others.
David was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Leonard "Pete" and Shirley Morgan of Phoenix, AZ; his mother and stepfather Barbara and Bob Gimer of Lake Ogallala, NE; and his son Matthew Morgan of Thornton, CO. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Morgan of Denver, CO; Holly Solie of Elk River, MN; Richard Morgan of Joplin, MO; Connie Learn of Placentia, CA; his children, Lenny Morgan of Aurora, CO; Jared Morgan of Aurora, CO; Crystelle Morgan of Pueblo; Heather Morgan of Denver, CO; as well as three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
