One of my favorite memories of David and the family is all the nights being at Frankie's playing Phase 10! It would get very competitive but I always loved it! One of those nights David & I went to get food and boy was I scared riding in the car with him. Lol! Thought he was gonna kill me. Miss that boy! The whole family as well!

DAVID was such a Young cute kid as an elementary school classmate of my daughters. We laughed because we always said that my daughter Lindsay and David were gonna get married. Elementary school sweethearts forever. DAVID every time he showed up at any of the birthday parties for our kids,, he always had a big cheese eating smile. Your smile lit up the room. You will be forever missed Son.

I’m sorry I never got to see you after we graduated again. Everyone loved you and your mom at Old Town. I remember you used to tease Ms. Cruz about her age and everyone would laugh and she’d laugh too and I didn’t really know how to joke or how insulting the term “hag” was and you told her I called her that and she put me outside the class. 1990, Old Town Elementary School, Chaparral Drive, Round Rock, TX, USA

Mrs. Shine's class is where we met, as 2 Itty bitties along with 25 other itty bitties learning and playing and pretending to nap. I was coloring a picture with blue clouds and white sky. David made sure to tell me, with that sweet grin on his face, that clouds were not blue, the sky was, and I was doing it wrong. I dont know why I remember it so vividly, but I can still hear his voice and see his face. His smile and sweet spirit followed him everywhere. To this day, i still do not color the clouds blue. They are forever white, and the sky is forever blue, just like he said 35 years ago. He will be terribly missed.
