David's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. David Rhodes, born on December 18, 1956, who left us on June 26, 2025. David lived a rich life full of love, joy, and unforgettable memories, leaving an indelible legacy of kindness and love.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Kelly Rhodes, whom he married in 1996, his step-daughter, Alexis Sisson, his son, Ian Rhodes, his son-in-law, Daniel Sisson, and his cherished grandson, Logan Sisson. David was predeceased by his father, Howard Rhodes, his mother, Verna Dean Rhodes, and his brothers, Bobby, Kenny, and Doug Rhodes.

Known for his witty, stoic, and funny personality, David was well-loved by all who had the pleasure to know him. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family, watching his favorite sports teams, chiefly, The Chiefs, and favorite TV shows - NASCAR and Wrestling. A bonafide foodie, his favorite foods were pulled pork or anything grilled or BBQed, and he relished a good glass of whiskey and coke. An avid reader, he cherished any book by Steven King and enjoyed anything to rock to.

The lessons David shared resonates with us still and were unique to the individuals he shared them with. His wisdom, generosity, and undying love will forever be remembered and cherished by his loved ones.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held on September 6, 2025 at 4:30 PM at The American Legion Tirey J. Ford Post 21. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. Loved beyond words and missed beyond measure, David's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
