David Alan Latawiec, 62 of Cambridge, MN, passed away suddenly on February 14th, 2025.

David was born on October 15th, 1962, to Walter and Eileen Latawiec of Columbia Heights, MN. As a child, David attended Immaculate Conception School and Columbia Heights High School.

After high school, he completed a pipefitters apprenticeship and went on as a journeyman for several years and enjoyed his work. At age 60, he retired from the trade.

He was a proud outdoorsman who loved gardening, fishing and hunting with his "buddy" (second photo above). Dave enjoyed sharing his bountiful harvest with family and friends. He loved art and was a very talented artist that enjoyed drawing and carving wood and stone.

Gone from sight but forever held in our hearts. David joins his parents and brother-in-law Dan Lawler in Heaven. He is survived by his children; son Shane (Michelle); daughter Keuta (Justin); Brother Joe Latawiec; sisters Barb (Dennis) Rodriguez; Kathy Lawler; Linda (Randy) Rein, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle, extended family and friends.

David will be honored in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 5th at Homewood Suites in New Brighton, MN (Mtg/Event room near main lobby) from 12-3; lunch will be provided.
