David Michael Kolstad, age 29, of Plymouth, MN passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 30th, 2018. David was born on August 21st, 1989 in Buffalo, Mn. After graduating high school, David did basic training at Fort Knox. He served as a tanker in the army from 2006 to 2009. He then took a job at Protolabs where he worked for 7 years as a machinist and lead. David loved his work and was well-liked by his co-workers. He always displayed a great work ethic and was a team player. He will be greatly missed.

He was a wonderful caring young man who had a zest for making people laugh and was a pleasure to be around. David had a deep love for his friends and family. He loved fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, and had a strong passion for video games. Everyone that was blessed to have him in their lives knew David as a wonderful friend, a loving son and an amazing brother. He was always there for everyone, whenever you needed his help, or just a shoulder to lean on.

David is survived by his father, Michael Kolstad (Judy), mother Jacquelyn Goodwill Kolstad (Jeff Olson), siblings, Daniel, Andrew (Jamie Smith), and Nicholas Kolstad, and his beloved Grandmother, Beverly Kolstad.

David’s service will be at 2 P.M. at Spirit of Grace Church, 10110 Woodcrest Dr. N.W. Coon Rapids, Mn. 55433.
