David's obituary
David was a proud family man who loved his whole family. David was the type of man that would do anything for his family and friends. David loved his country and served in the Army as a medic and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
David's wishes after death were for his body to be donated for medical research. This was done through UT Southwestern. Through this he will be able to help further research into several diseases that he had, including ALS, prostate cancer (which was in remission), and colon cancer. They may be able to research the exposure to Agent Orange, that he was exposed to in the Vietnam War. UT Southwestern asked his wife Patti, about donating his eyes since he had 20/20 vision. David would be proud to know of all the good that may come out of his selfless act.
David is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Ruth Davis, his sister Dee Dee Davis, his sister Robin Little, and his brother Billy Davis.
David is survived by his wife Patti Davis, his daughter Sheila Davis and her children Sasha and Cole, his step-daughter Amy Clark and her husband Jeremy and children Charlie Gallamore Ellie Crue and Channing, his sister Randi Riley, his brother Frank Davis, his sister Vikki Trammell, his sister Gladys Samples, and numerous nieces and nephews.
