David's obituary

David Lee Johnson, 26, passed away the week of October 27th 2024. He is survived by his parents Valerie Johnson and Glenn Johnson as well as his siblings Anne, Samuel, and Lisa along with his niece Isabella. David was a Sergeant and sniper in the US Army and served abroad in Syria and Poland.

As a child he loved trains, Legos, cheese and humility. He'd laugh at those last two. David was an avid gamer. He'd spend hours playing computer games such as World of Tanks with friends. He took an interest in marksmanship as he got older and competed in and placed well in various sniper competitions in the Army.

David was an artist and a creator. The homes of the people he cared for are filled with his artwork. Beyond art, he also built things his whole life. From LEGO castles as a child, to cabins in the forest of Idaho, to shelters in the West Texas desert, David was constantly building. He helped shape and build the lives of the many people he cared for and will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
