David Richard Hellerman, born on July 28, 1946, to the late Frank and Ruth Hellerman, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones. A proud Marine veteran, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, Dave’s life was defined by strength, dedication, and the deep love he had for all of his family.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Lentz; his sister, Barbara Manes; his daughter, Christine Reid (John Fletcher); his son, David Hellerman II; and his bonus children — Syble, Tisha, Michael, and Joshua.

He was the proud grandfather of Taylor (Austin), Gage, and Kane; and bonus-grandfather to Hannah, John Wayne, Emily, Kaylynn, Bella, Valerie, and Athena.

He was also blessed with a great-grandson, Waylon, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews along with a loving mother-in-law, Fayrene Lentz and several others who held special places in his heart - who will all continue to cherish his memory.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Hellerman; two sisters; his brother; a niece; a nephew; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and his first wife- Patty.

Known for his sense of humor, his love of family, and his unwavering resilience, Dave leaves behind a legacy of strength and love that will continue to live on in all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
