I send my deepest condolences to the family of David Goring. He was my graduate advisor at the Pulp and Paper Research institute on University Avenue, Montreal. He was a most personable fellow and I have good memories of him and often think back to the good old days on the 3rd floor of PPRIC. At one get-together at his home, I practiced portrait photography and took photos of his daughter Rosemary!

I wanted to offer my sincerest condolences to Liz and the family. I was saddened to hear of David's passing. David was always loved by the many students and faculty that knew him in Chem Eng and Pulp & Paper Centre. He cared deeply about their progress and development. I will miss his presence, but will have his gentle smile in my mind forever.
