I had the distinct privilege of working with David during his Daughter's enormously challenging and inspiring health battle . David was an unwaveringly kind, patient and gentle soul. His diligence and grace in dealing with his daughter’s tragic illness and miraculous recovery was humbling to witness, and to say this news is an unbelievable shock is an understatement. David had the ability to reassure those around him through his mere presence alone. A truly immense loss to his family, friends and our organization. He will remain in my memories as an instrumental mentor during the beginning of my professional career.

I met Dave in 2000. I had just started dating Daniel and I was always at the Frank house. At the time, Dave was quiet and reserved and I didn’t know him well. Then in 2001, Dave met Andrea. From the moment they met, Dave lit up. He was so happy and his laugh was infectious. I spent the next 10 years going on many trips, family gatherings, weddings, and just hanging out with him and Andrea.
In 2010 we both became parents. It was perfect. Dean and Samantha grew up together and then 2-3 years later Sadie and Evelyn followed. We became even closer. We would try to get together weekly to have the cousins play. Between camping, the beach, parks, the pool we were always together. My girls always loved their time with uncle Dave.
Some of my favorite memories of Dave are when he would just show up at our house, pop a seltzer, and just talk. I could talk to Dave about anything.
Dave has always been amazing but over the last 23 years I got to see what an incredible husband, uncle, father, son, and brother he was.
Thanks for being the best brother for the last 23 years, Dave. I’ll miss you

Franksgiving was always the best holiday for our family and for us kids the best part of course was when we were told we finally could eat dessert. I remember always being blown away by how many pieces of pie Dave could eat. WHERE DID HE PUT IT ALL?! We will miss you Dave.
