Son Everyone you knew misses you so much.
You will never ever be forgotten.
You made an impression on everyone you met, and they made one on you.
With love from everyone you knew.
Everyone at all the schools and places you taught at, worked at, played at, and or traveled to misses you so much son, especially all your students.ย You have some amazing students, and they will do amazing things. I know how much you loved your job. You said, โMom I love my job, not only do I get to teach them History, I also, get to travel and show them what Iโve taught them.โ
Each one of your students, their parents, your coworkers, your football brothers, and coaches, etc.โฆ spoke amazingly about you and how kind and caring you were.
You will never ever be forgotten, son.
You made an impression on everyone you met. One of your amazing students drew this impressive work of art (picture of you).
With love from everyone whose lives you have touched and that have touched your life. They say it takes a village to raise a child and that is so true. Here is your village son. Son, you use to tease me and say that I have never met a stranger. Well, you forgot to tell me neither have you.ย Your dad and I miss you more.ย Until we meet again son, we love you.ย Rest in Peace.

Dear Family and Friends, and the entire village that helped us raise our beloved son David B. Douglas, Jr. (Dave, Big Dave, Double D, Coach Douglas, David Jr., 10-4 Good Buddy, Da Da) Thanks for showing up and showing out for our son.
Suzette and I cannot express enough gratitude for the outpouring of love and support you have shown to our family during this incredibly difficult time. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every one of you who took the time to send your heartfelt condolences to our family. Your outpouring of love, support, and kind words have provided us with immense comfort and strength as we navigate the loss of our beloved son, David B. Douglas Jr.
Losing David has been one of the most challenging experiences we have ever had but knowing that we have such an incredible network of family and friends, and a village of amazing people who care for us has truly been a source of solace. Your hugs, messages, whether in person, through cards, post it notes, poster boards, phone calls or emails, and photos have touched our hearts and reminded us we are not alone in our grief.
Your support and or donations to our grandchildrenโs (Jace, Avery & Aria) futures has helped us find moments of peace amidst the pain, and for that, we are forever grateful. While we may never fully heal from the loss of our son David B. Douglas, Jr., having your love and support has made the burden a litter lighter to bear. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we cherish the memories of our son and begin the journey toward healing. Please forgive us for being late with our message and the amazing photos taken by Jeff M. with Snapper Shoots of David B. Douglas, Jrโs homecoming/village. Jeff M. with Snapper Shoots did an amazing job of capturing everyone. Please be sure to leave him a tip and order/or download the prints. Just remember we all grieve differently.
With heartfelt thanks,
Sincerely,
David and Suzette Douglas
