Every time we were with David, he was quick to share stories and photos of his children and grandchildren! He was so proud of each of his four kids and just crazy about his grandkids! His love of children began when he was a young boy as he loved on his little brothers, Richard and my husband, Dave. He was so happy to lend a hand to anyone around him and always helped with a smile and an “all in” attitude. We loved his sense of humor, and it was always a treat to hear him reminisce about life on the Briere farm. David valued family and was a faithful visitor to his biological, foster, and step family members. We are so happy that he found Susan and that they were able to have many happy adventures together! They were so good for each other and good to each other. We are so sad that Susan has lost such a wonderful husband and that his kids no longer are able to be with their beloved dad, but we know that David will live on in all of our hearts and through the legacy he has left to his and Susan’s grandchildren. We are so grateful to have had you for a brother, David!

I’m so sorry for your loss.
Mr. Davis was always wonderful.
The dugouts at South Acres are still a reflection of his work.

To the family----I am very sorry for your loss. I got to know Dave (and Kathy) while our kids played sports and through my job (UPS) and the thing that I most appreciated about Dave is that he told you what was on his mind rather than what he thought you might want to hear. I much prefer the former over the latter. I got to know him much better when he extended the deck on my Johnson Ave condo and still remember his laugh when I asked him if I could (safely) put a hot tub on it----I couldn't. He loved his family and will be missed.
