David Allan Dollens, aged 64 years young, went to be with our Lord on January 7, 2024. 

He was born in Waco on April 27, 1959 to Weldon and Margie Clifton. David attended Richfield High School and Sam Houston State before studying nursing at McLennan Community College. He began his nursing career at Scott and White in Temple, TX  joining their Cardiovascular Operating Team, and ending his nursing career at Baylor Scott and White in Lakeway, TX. 

David had a deep passion for photography that began in High School. Many will have fond memories of him snapping photos and returning incredible, and sometimes silly, photoshop edits. When he wasn't behind the camera lens, you would likely find him jamming music in his kitchen while he concocted the best recipe with his Ninja Foodie gear, or getting good use of his membership at Range USA sighting in his newest firearm. 

David was preceded in death by his father Weldon Clifton and mother Margie Littlepage Dollens, adopted father Leon Dollens, brother James Clifton, brother Weldon "Clif" Dollens, and daughter Andrea Dollens. He is survived by daughters Katelyn Dollens and Jessica Dollens, sons Ryan Dollens and Landon Dollens, bonus children Ciara Burks, Chloe Bermel, and Nickolaus Bermel, sister Anne Sutherland and husband Tommy, brothers Byron Dollens and wife Janis, Bruce Dollens, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
