David was a voracious reader his entire life. He loved the Seattle Public Library system and frequently gave to Friends of the Seattle Public Library.

He was passionate about the access to knowledge that the library provides to everyone for free. He chose the location of his home with consideration for how close it was to the library and community center so his children could take advantage of positive places to be. He often spoke about the role the library played as a safe place for him to go as a child and wanted to ensure that was available for others. Contribute to Friends of the Seattle Public Library
