David C. Dantzler, Jr., 81, of West Columbia, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022.

David was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed helping people and never met a stranger.

He was predeceased by his father, D.C. Dantzler, Sr.; his mother, Thetis Dawkins Dantzler; and sister, Margaret D. Bonnette.

Surviving are his children, Andrea St. John (Brandon Crownover); Michael Dantzler (Christie Maloy); his granddaughter, Brianne St. John; and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Jewish Voice Ministries International, or to a charity of your choice.
