My heart goes out to the family of David. What a guy!! God has him and he will be singing with the angels. He will be missed.
It looks like David had a loving family and a life he could be proud of. He will be missed by so many.

One of our beloved cousins, gone too soon. Dave was part of the large Daeffler family. He always treated folks kindly and will be missed.

Went to the mailbox that afternoon and found a rose in it. Hum I thought someone has left a rose for my teenage daughter. That night I received a call- It's Dave. The rest is quite a tale of caring and compassion. He always liked to write little letters of create little treasure hunts. Who would have thought that such a big burly guy had such of soft wonderful heart. I miss him so much.

I was very sad to hear of Dave's passing. Dave was my step father for around 10 years of my life. While I didn't realize it when I was young he did a great job at trying to shape my future. Later in life I made sure that I thanked him for what he had done for me. He told me my note to him had brought him to tears. Unfortunately it had taken me a long time to realize the wonderful impact he had on me. There is not a thing in my life that would be the same today if he were not a part of my life. For that I will forever be great-full to him. I know he loved his children as much as anyone could and always treated me as one of his own. Dave or "Big Dave" as he was known in our racing circles will always be in my heart. I hope he is at peace now. He will be missed. Love ya Dave.
