One of the nicest and most genuine people in the tech and media industry.  I learned so much from him and loved every minute we got to spend together.  This is so sad.
In our high school days, David worked for WRR radio station, including behind the microphone. He was already an impressive 17-year old. Its still the only time I've ever been inside to recording studios of a radio station. My deep gratitude to David for his friendship in the 1970s. You were a very special, expressive, smart, entrepreneurial friend who has a place in my heart.

I don't know where to begin. Larger than life people are supposed to be around for a long time. And David, you were the largest… cycling in north texas was so your show. Team Jonti, epic t shirt rides, working my first race as an official, after hearing dial tone in a car for the first time! All of it was you.

Too many amazing memories from my early fire service days, incredible words of wisdom, Dave just so many things that shaped my young adult life and who I became were because of you.

Elionora, you and your family are in my thoughts, and I send you the warmest thoughts.

David The short year I lived with you changed my life, and I don’t know if I ever expressed that to you. You were one of a kind my friend.

Deepest Condolences. May peace be with you Elionora, Deb, and David’s family of friends.

David touched many lives, in many ways. I met him at a CERT training a long time ago, but may have crossed paths much earlier in the tech realm. He mentored many into getting HAM licenses. I stayed in loose contact with him and discovered he and Elionora to be some of the biggest animal advocates I had met. Giving a voice to the voiceless. David, I imagine you now with Elmo on your shoulders and Brittany with her head in your lap.
I love you, David Coursey. Thank you for being my long-time friend. I'm really grateful for the exciting and really fruitful times we spent partnering with local public safety at emergency scenes. You made a huge difference each and every time. I love, admire, and respect you so much. Thank you for letting me hang out with you, learn from you, and for leaving your magic dust behind you in your wake to sprinkle on us all as you sped through our lives like a hurricane. Just stopping by to say that. xo
Too young, too creative.  I don't know what to say as I'm still in shock
