It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Collins. This is a completely unexpected loss and our family is devastated by this passing.

David was an avid outdoors man who spent much of his time in nature. David spent much of his free time cruising down Ventura Beach on his bike enjoying the sound of the ocean and waves and the California sunshine. 

David R. Collins went home to be with the lord On April 21, 2823. David was born on October 16, 1962 in Ventura. California.

David's joy in life was his family and his love for 70's music. You can always count on hearing David saying his cherished saying HOORAY! David loved the color blue and was a Lakers fanatic. David had a tremendous love for his family.

 In is adult life, after graduating High School David worked at a Plumber. David was always the life of the party and enjoying life as he crusied through on his beach cruise as we all probably remember fondly.

He is survived by his parents Herbert and Betty Weekley of lancaster, CA, Four brothers Alfred Collins, Marvin Collins, Robert Collins, Herbert JR and his 4 sisters Michelle Epps, Robin Harris, Pennie Craig and Libby Walker and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. David was proceeded in death by two sisters Pamela Clark and Sharon Perry and his Grandmother Laura Lee.

David may be gone but, he will never be forgotten. All that had the pleasure of experiencing David's charismatic personality know that David was full of life and love. 

Services in honoring of David's memory will be helps at St Paul Baptist Church 1777 Statham Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93033  May 13tg  2023 at 1pm
