Extended Obituary

David Christiansen was a beloved father and friend, known for his generous spirit and adventurous soul.

David grew up in a loving family with two brothers, a hardworking father, and a devoted mother. From his early years, he was instilled with the values of kindness, hard work, and family—principles that guided him throughout his life.

David was married to Lucinda for many years, and together they raised four daughters: Jennifer, Jessica, Justina, and Julie. He took great pride in being a father, striving to provide a loving environment for his children. Later in life, David married Tia, and they were blessed with four more children: Jade, David, Caitlyn, and Tyce. His joy and dedication to his family only grew with each addition.

David had a natural ability as a drummer and musician. As a singing drummer, his talents charmed audiences. He wasn't just a performer; he was a storyteller, transforming his experiences into stories that grew more colorful with each retelling. He made friends everywhere and his tales became notorious among those who knew him.

Embracing the spirit of the 1960s, David saw himself as a lifelong hippie, rolling and rambling through life with a sense of freedom. He believed in the ideals of peace, love, and happiness. His friendships were deep and genuine, and he left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

David was always willing to lend a hand. He took pride and joy in his carpentry, referring to himself as the "golden hammer." His craftsmanship was impeccable, and he loved helping friends and family with construction projects. Whether building a deck, renovating a room, or crafting a birdhouse, David poured his heart into every project.

David had a passion for working on Vespa scooters, motorcycles, and even racing stock cars. His mechanical skills and love for speed added another dimension to his life, and he enjoyed the thrill that came with these pursuits. He deeply enjoyed nature, hunting and the outdoors.

His faith was a cornerstone of his life and his contributions to his church will be remembered fondly.

David Christiansen believed in peace, love, and happiness. He leaves behind a world made brighter by his music, laughter, craftsmanship, and faith. We will forever miss his stories, his smile, and his unwavering spirit.
