Background
I am sure by now most of you who know me and my wife have heard the news that our only surviving child, David E. Chappell, recently died from a tragic fall at one of his jobs. He was just 55 yrs. old. (See link to his obituary below) He is predeceased by his two sisters, Michelle, and Dina.
As you can imagine this has caused serious emotional and financial stress particularly to Dave's nineteen-year-old daughter, Katie and Dave's partner of eight years, Karen. For this reason, we decided to create a GoFundMe page to help them get a fresh start now. (See GoFundMe link below)
My wife and I have always made our own way financially and don’t like asking for help. We have already contributed over $20k of our own funds to this cause but it is not enough. Respectfully we ask for your help in two ways.
First, if you are inclined you can contribute to the GoFundMe account any amount you wish.
Secondly and most importantly please pass this email and or GoFundMe link to your social network.
We are trying to obtain a $20,000 goal. It is better to find 1000 people who will contribute $20 each rather than burden 100 people to contribute $200 each.
