So sorry to hear of David's passing. We were friends since we both started attending Tennessee High School  and auto tech. We hung out daily for years. I bought the  blue and white 1963 Ford galaxie he had when we were 16. We hung out for years. Last year David drove around Blountville 2 hours looking for my house and when he arrived boy did we have a discussion. He was a great lifelong friend and he will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. Love you like a brother. Mark jones.

As hard as it is to hear of your passing I know you are no longer feeling pain and are free.  I bet he and Dad are already up there working on a car together.  My favorite David story is involving a jeep he got. He wanted to take several nieces and nephews for a short ride. They all squeezed in.  Ashley was young and he didn't want her to fall out of the jeep so he used a bungee cord around her waist and wrapped it around the roll bar to hold her in! They ran out of gas and the older nieces and nephews had to get out and push. When they got back all of them were talking at once about how awesome the ride was! The parents of the children were horrified but saw how excited the kids were and had to laugh. My children still tell this memory. Fly high David! You are beginning a new journey and I know you will be watching over mom, your children and grandchildren as well as the rest of his family and friends.

David was very loved by his mom and she will miss fussing with him.  She wants to remember his best friend Jeff Widner who was by his side since grade school and loved him like a brother.  He will be greatly missed.  Billie has been in the hospital fighting her own battles while David was fighting his and wants David to know she loves him and would have done anything to make him better.
