David “Dave/ D.C.” Anthony Cameron
David Anthony Cameron was born February 4, 1957 in Detroit MI to Alberta Cameron Lemon (dec.) and David Cameron (dec.). He went to sleep in death on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020. Dave is survived in death by his loving wife Theodora Cameron his sons David Jr. (Natia), Malik (Stephanie), Darell (Angelica), Willie, and daughter Lakeya, his five siblings Venida, Sherry, Alberteen, Denise, and Julie (Troy). Dave leaves behind his:
Grandchildren: Meechie, Corey, Malikk, Inaja, Dajanai, Tierra, A’Nya, Darell Jr., King, Ivory, Ava, Davion, Da’Quan, Arianna, Meadow, Donavon Dowdell, Donnesha Dowdell, and Tania Dowdell.
Great- grandchildren: Jaymond Jr., Jakari, Jaquan Jr., Da’Quan Jr, Demetrius, Layla.
Nieces and Nephews: Surrenia (Deittrick), Leroy, Patricia (deceased) Deanthony, Tamera (Reggie), Quincy, Renota (Phillip), Darrell, Tiffany, Ashlyn, Sheena, Lychristin, Lydea(Shani), NaJee, and RaSean.
In-laws: Theodore (Coy), Samuel, Denise L. He also leaves his aunts, uncles, family, and friends.

David graduated from the well-known Cooley High School in Detroit, Michigan in 1974. He then began his career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan, working there nearly 35 years. Dave wed his first wife in 1977 and became father to three beautiful sons David Jr., Malik and Darell. He married his beloved Theodora “Dora” Rozier on February 14, 2003 and inherited another son, Willie, and daughter, Lakeya. Dave and his loving wife Dora celebrated 17 years of marriage in February of this year. He loved to travel on cruises with his wife. Dave also loved to ride his motorcycle on open road trips. Dave loved socializing with his family and friends. He was especially fond of Taco Monday with Dora. It was their weekly date night of virtual bowling on their Xbox. Dave really loved Dora, whom he called “Coco Puff,” and their life together.

David and Theodora relocated to Houston, Texas in 2009. He began working for Houston Police Department. In 2016, they settled in Clear Lake, Texas.

Dave dedicated his life to Jehovah in 1975. He enjoyed the privilege of serving Jehovah along with his wife Dora. Dave loved to read bible scriptures at the meetings. He enjoyed the preaching ministry, participating in the Life and Ministry School and most of all the assemblies and Regional Conventions.

Dave loved to sing, never missing a karaoke performance, even securing the nickname “The Voice”. He was a loving husband, wonderful dad, amazing uncle, grandfather, and the best brother.
