David Brian Thompson of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at his residence from cardiac disease, on January 23, 2024. David was born May 13, 1963. David grew up in Ellettsville, IN and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1981.

David worked for Don Bush moving, was a Bail Bondsman and worked at Chicago’s Pizza for several years.

David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and cheered for them even when they had bad seasons, David also enjoyed and cherished his beloved dog Elmer.

David was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Wayne Thompson, his nephew Matthew Jordan Thompson, and his parents Glenn and Bonnie (Games) Thompson. He is survived by his sister Kara (Thompson) Higginbotham of Bloomfield and his nephew Joseph Edward Jordan of Bloomington.

Arrangements are being handled at Samaritan Funeral and Cremation Home in Terre Haute, Indiana.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
