Im deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing Dave from being a customer of mine at Kings. We had many many wonderful conversations about life and our families. I will miss him.Β
I'm so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of always seeing his contagious smile while crossing the hallways or on the elevator at DCA.Β Β
So Sorry to hear of David's passing, he was such a kind, funny, and brilliant individual, I'm glad that I got the opportunity to work with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace and my condolences to the entire family.

I just learned of his passing, sorry to hear. Β  Β I remember him as always cheerful, happy on his skateboard and reading Joan Didion, and his hippie style into his 60’s. Β Β

I knew David in the 1970’s and have never forgotten him. His beautiful looks (especially that fabulous hair!), warm and wonderful smile, and poetic soul. We had many fun times together and I will always have him in my heart. ❀️

My warmest condolences, thoughts and prayers to all of David’s family.Β

I met your father briefly through Abby, and admired his free spirited look (and his sweet sports car). I would like to honor his life by being a support to you and Casie and your mother. May his memory be a blessing.

I am SO unbelievably grateful that I knew David and he proudly called me his daughter-in-law even though Sam and I aren't married yet. One of the MANY things I love about David, was his appreciation for the little things in life. As long as he had his music, "pot," and walks in nature he was happy. He LOVED music and loved sharing music. He was a hippie and proud of it, I mean he still said "groovy" and I fucking loved that about him. He had the same haircut since the 70's and lived in band tees, tie dye, and denim jackets. We have a very special notebook of his and I would like to share a quote that he wrote in that notebook which he gave to his loving son Sam. "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die" -Thomas Campbell
So sorry to hear this, Sam. He was always so nice to talk to, I remember that years later. ❀️
