David Anderson, 64, of East Longmeadow, MA, passed away on November 17, 2025, at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Surrounded by visitors, David continued sharing stories and brightening hearts with his warm smile until the very end.

David grew up on Melody Lane in East Longmeadow, where he cherished his neighborhood and created lifelong memories. A proud graduate of East Longmeadow High School, Class of 1979, David was an enthusiastic member of the football and wrestling teams, known for his competitive spirit and dedication. His commitment to community extended beyond school—David was a longtime member of the East Longmeadow Jaycees, actively participating in local events and serving as Chapter President.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Shirley (Miller) Anderson; his siblings, Robert and Carol; and his beloved Cocker Spaniels, Sandy and Champy.

David will be remembered for his kind heart, interest in debating issues, his ability to make friends wherever he went, and his love of storytelling—especially tales of family vacations at Lake Champlain. His life was enriched by the many friendships he nurtured over the years.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the generous donations made in David’s memory and for the support of all who shared in his life.

A memorial service honoring David will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1 Porter Road, East Longmeadow, MA.
