Born with a natural charisma that made him a friend to all, Darryl's infectious laugh could light up any room and bring joy to everyone within earshot. He was a man of deep faith, valuing respect above all else, and he lived his life with unwavering determination and intelligence.
Darryl graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a driven and creative entrepreneur, founding his own business, Neon Connection, where he turned his passion for design into a successful venture crafting neon signs. His love for Sci-Fi and movies of all genres was well-known among his family and friends, often sharing his joy for film by regularly visiting the theaters, and watching all the latest films with a smile. He had a deep passion for smooth jazz and loved sharing his passion of jazz with his daughter Kyndall. He adored fine dinning and enjoying a good meal with his loved ones, which was always accompanied by indulging in a sweet treat after.
Darryl served his country in the military, demonstrating the same dedication and loyalty that he extended to his friends and family. He was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the values of kindness and generosity.
Above all, Darryl cherished his role as a father. His daughters, Kyndall Gordon and Ashley Oyola, were his greatest accomplishments and the light of his life. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph Gordon and Michael Gordon, and his sisters Rose White, Sylvia Gordon, Charita Hicks, Lynette Taylor, and Tonya Gordon.
