Darryl Joseph Delaney Jr “Darry”. Passed away at Vassar Brothers Hospital on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at 3:03am after a long term battle with Small Cell Carcinoma. At his request, no services will be held.

Darryl was born September 15, 1954 in Peekskill, NY to Darryl J. Delaney Sr. and Lorraine E. Delaney (Comeau) of Mahopac Falls, NY where Darryl Jr. was a resident of Mahopac Falls until graduating from Mahopac High School in 1972. Darryl was a “Jack of all Trades” from the time he worked at General Motors doing factory work, until the later years when he was involved with landscaping & home renovations. Darryl was always working with his hands and was always willing to help anyone in need fix their car, truck or home. Darryl was also an avid player of darts, billiards, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved his cats “Patches” and “Precious”.

Darryl Jr. was 66 years old and a long-time resident of Wingdale, NY. He leaves behind his loving companion Bonnie Cameli, their two daughters Samantha and Michelle as well as granddaughter’s Felicity and Aaliyah.

Darryl is further survived by his sister Patricia Delaney (Conway, SC), his brother Robb L. Delaney (Atlanta Georgia) and wife Amy, his nieces and nephews: Manny, Kyndall(wife), Milo (great nephew), Christopher, and Michael, Christopher (Farris), Mackenzie and Keegan

Darryl Jr. was preceded in death by his Father Darryl Sr. (2002), Mother Lorraine (2014), Sister Kathleen (2019) and Brother Richard John (1990) and his Son Richard John (1996)

In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts can be made to Cancer Research and or Heart Disease Research.
