It is with great sadness we regret to announce the passing of Darren Ottawa, 43, of Ottawa, ON, on March 28, 2022. Darren passed away, with his brother and sister by his side, from sudden health complications. Darren was predeceased by his mother Eileen. He is survived by his father Allen, his sister Cindy, his brother David, his nephews Aaron, Ethan, Seth and Bennett and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

To know Darren was to love him, he had a smile that would light up the room and a rascally sense of humour, familiar to all who knew him. Darren was a social butterfly who loved any chance to visit with friends and family, join a celebration and crack open a bag of chips. Darren was passionate about music, movies and was always up for a good game of Uno. Darren had a magnetic personality that drew people in and he leaves a lasting mark on all the lives he’s touched.

No service will be held at this time but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Ottawa Foyer Partage (https://ottawafoyerspartage.o…) the organization that cared for Darren. The wonderful staff went above and beyond for Darren during his time in their care and provided him with opportunities and experiences that enriched his life.
