Darren Deschamps, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, in Kelowna, British Columbia, at the age of 63.
Born on February 8, 1961, in Calgary, Alberta, he grew up with a love for life, people, and music. A devoted Christian, he lived with faith at the center of his heart and was an example of strength, kindness, and joy to all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Judy, his children, Sarah, Laina, Joshua, and Dolan, and his cherished grandchildren, Alexander and Adriana. He is also survived by his mother, Elizabeth, and his siblings Rene, Sheryl, Carey, and Shelley. He was predeceased by his brother David, who passed away shortly after him.
He was a man who loved good food, good company, and good music. With a guitar or harmonica in hand, he could fill a room with laughter and song. He had a passion for western movies and books, and artists like Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, and Van Morrison were the soundtrack of his life. Charismatic and extroverted, he had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued.
Above all, he was a hardworking and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who treasured his family. His legacy of love, warmth, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
