Darrell's obituary

Darrell Hamrick, (63) of Clarkdale Arizona, passed away on July 3rd, 2024.

Darrell was born to his loving mother Ophelia Garcia, on August 5th, 1960. He grew up in El Monte, California where he developed a love and talent for sports. After attending UCLA, Darrell entered the Industrial Tooling  Industry where he boasted a career in executive sales for over 40 years. Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Debi Hamrick and his three children; Jordyn Robinson, Ethan Hamrick, and Morgan Hamrick, as well as his three grandchildren; Jace Robinson, Avery Hamrick, and Zayden Irvine. He is also survived by his brother Art Martinez and his niece Kim Martinez.

Beyond his devotion to his family and career; he is remembered for his unwavering, steadfast, devotion to God and his Christian faith. If you ever came in contact with Darrell then you likely also came in contact with the good news of the gospel, as he would happily discuss the bible with co-workers, friends, and strangers.

Darrell was a dedicated supporter of Jireh Ministries as he believed wholeheartedly in the work being accomplished in Uganda by Andrew Reeder and his team. In lieu of flowers and a formal memorial service, the family is asking that donations be made to the “Jireh Ministries” organization in Uganda Africa as a way of honoring his memory.
