Darrel Mattox passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 surrounded by his family at home after being under Hospice care. Darrel was born on January 6 1938 in Forsyth County to Charles Mattox and Anne Snyder Mattox. He worked for Integon Insurance as an Administrator for over 30 years. Darrel was a member of the Civitan Club and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing golf and antiquing with his wife, Mary, throughout the country. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Mary, sister, Martha Anne Goodman and son, Robert D Mattox. Surviving family includes daughter, Carol, son, David and 5 grandchildren, Tracy, Robert Jr, Angel, David Jr and Gavin, and 3 great grandchildren.
