Darlington E. Lewis of Aberdeen, MD passed from this life at Stella Maris hospice Center on April 27, 2005. Born at Havre de Grace he was the son of the late Albert C. Lewis, Sr. and Hattie Lewis.

A life long harford county resident, he attended Central Consolidated School. He enjoyed fishing, football, basketball, and tinkering in general. He was an over-the road truck driver for many years.

Darlington had a long fight with a respiratory infection. An infection that became immune to treatment. He began to loose this battle towards the end of February.

He was self employed as a truck driver.

In addition to his wife, Beatrice, Darlington is survived by two sons, Duane and Donnie of Rosedale, MD; one brother, Albert C. Jr. and wife, Margaret of Baltimore, MD; six sisters Grace Bishop and husband, Eugene of Aberdeen, Alma Cromwell and husband, William of Bel Air; Francis Fax and husband, Berkley of Aberdeen; Shirley James and husband, Benny of Street; Anne Bishop of Aberdeen; Octavia Giles and husband, Roger of Aberdeen.
