Darline's obituary

Darline Rae Nydigger, 82, of Springfield Oregon, passed away on December 23, 2020.

Darline was born on July 27 of 1938 in Salem, Oregon. Her parents were Margaret and Everett Gipson. Darline was proud to be a native Oregonian. She was raised in Siletz, OR and attended school there.

Darline married her loving husband and best friend Lee in 1956. Darline and Lee raised three daughters and now have 5 granddaughters and 7 great grandchildren. We are so blessed that Darline was able to be a stay at home mom. She assisted her husband in entrepreneurial-ship and she kept a warm and loving home where her children thrived. She loved to sing and play the piano. Many times you would find her sitting under a well loved painting, playing and singing quietly to herself or loudly with her daughters around her. She loved to quilt and craft. She grew beautiful roses, she danced, she laughed, mostly she fiercely loved her family. We will and do miss her greatly.

Darline was predeceased by her sister Donna and her son Thomas. She is survived by her husband Lee and daughter Laura Nydigger, Patrice McVey and Sheryl Nydigger Dolezal, 5 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Proverbs 31:28
Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 990 Tivoli Ave, Eugene OR 97404. There will be a celebration of life in the near future. No date at this time.
