I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of my Sister in Law Darlene. You are in a much better place. Say hi to Burt and Karen for me. ❤️❤️❤️

Thoughts and prayers to her family. I only knew Darlene because she was a former coworker and good friend of my mom. She was always so caring and they would talk on the phone often. May she rest in peace.

To my beautiful friend, who always had a way with words.
You were such a good friend to me when I met you in the early 90s. At that time in my life I felt pretty lonely. I don’t think I even knew it, but I feel like you saved me from all the stress and uncertainty I was going through.
You took me under your wing and taught me so much at work ..
We discussed how much our mothers meant to us. We had both gone through loss and disappointment You never asked for much. Friendship was always just enough for you.
We didn’t get to talk in person over the years but I always felt connected through Cards and Facebook posts. Rest in peace. God has received a beautiful soul. ❤️

I have not seen my cousin in many years. While my aunt Marge was still with her, we would try to get our mothers to talk on the phone as often as they would cooperate! She was a unique individual. Reading and writing were always her passion. And love. That is what I will remember. And that laugh!!

It has been a very hard 4 days. Knowing I will not be texting and talking and saving the world from our chairs you are terribly missed. 😢😢😢

It was just a few lines to check in on a text. She told me that she took a home COVID test and was positive. I would have been right there if I had known this would take her away from me. The last thing she said to me was (what is the name of the bean you are supposed to eat on New Year's Eve.) I will miss my FRIEND :(
In response to "When was the last time you spent time with Darlene?"
