Darlene Marie Flory, 59, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Friday April

10, 2026, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV. She was born on

September 1, 1966. A daughter of the late John M. Matura and late Sharon M.

Mergogey Matura. In addition to her parents Darlene was preceded in death by her

sister Debra Eppler, ex-husband Mike Flory, and great niece Lilian Ross.

Darlene was a homemaker for most of her life, who enjoyed being around her family

and friends. She loved to have a conversation with anyone who would listen, she

also loved to play bingo, go shopping, dumpster dive and believed a scratch off ticket

was acceptable on any occasion. In addition to her love for her family Darlene had a

major love for her cats over the years, currently owning a girl named kali kat that

she cherished dearly. She also enjoyed collecting coins, visiting the beach, and

hitting up the hot spot. Darlene was a loving mother, aunt, and friend who was

survived by her brother John M. Matura Jr., children Heather Matura, Jamie Davis

and husband Corey Davis, Cassie Winiavski, Nicolette Winiavski, Trisha Flory,

Destiny Flory, and recently reconnected with her adopted daughter Molly Toney,

and husband Jon Toney Jr. In addition to her children, she is also survived by 11

grandchildren, 5 nieces and nephews, and 9 great nieces and nephews.
