It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Darlenda "Nana" Marquis. Born on May 2, 1942, Darlenda departed from this world peacefully on February 9, 2025, leaving a void in our hearts that cannot be filled.

Known fondly as Nana to many and most comfortable being called Darlenda, she was a woman of remarkable strength, wit, and charm. Her life story was written in the hearts of every person she cherished, her legacy etched not in material possessions or grand accomplishments but in the love she bestowed upon those lucky enough to have known her.

Darlenda's light continues to shine brightly in the loving memories of her son, Troy Marquis, her daughter, Terry Marquis,  her grandson, Austin Marquis, and her granddaughter Addison Marquis

While we mourn Darlenda's departure, we also celebrate her life, honoring her enduring spirit which remains alive in our memories. Her laughter, her wisdom, her compassion and love will forever echo in our minds and hearts. She may be absent physically, but her influence and the love she shared will continue to live on.

We find comfort in knowing that Nana is now at peace. As we bid her farewell, we remember her for the warmth she carried, the wisdom she shared, and the love she poured into this world. May her soul rest in tranquility and her memory continue to inspire and guide us.
