Dariusz Jakubowski, 65, of Melrose Park, Illinois, passed away on December 22, 2025. He was born on July 22, 1960, in Poland.

Dariusz worked in antique furniture restoration before becoming a truck driver. He was known for his strong work ethic and incredible ability to fix anything, especially cars. His hands-on skills and determination were admired by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Grazyna Jakubowska; his children, Daria, Anna, and Jack Jakubowski; his granddaughters, Natalia and Kalina Regula; his sister, Krystyna Thorkelson; and his brother, Ryszard Jakubowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zygmunt and Julia Jakubowski.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 3:00–7:00 p.m. at Andersen-Morgan Funeral Home in Franklin Park, Illinois.
