Darien's obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darien Pelotte-Young , a man affectionately known as Darien, but who preferred DJ. Darien was born on November 13, 1993 and tragically left our world on July 27, 2023. His departure has left an increlible void in our hearts.
Remembered fondly for his infectious laughter and larger-than-life personality, Darien was the life of the party. His love for life was evident in his lively humor and profound appreciation for music. His happiest moments were spent with his children and his family, whether it was quality time with his son or heartwarming phone conversations with his other children or family members.
Darien lived by the philosophy that no matter how hard life may seem, it could always be worse. He treated each day as though it were his last and shared this wisdom with everyone he knew. His positive outlook on life was truly inspiring.
Perhaps, Darien's greatest accomplishment and most precious legacy are his children: Cayden, Sophia, Matthew, Bently, and Colton. These tokens of love, who carry a piece of Darien within them, are a testament to his life and character.
As a protector and a guardian, Darien was the bedrock of his family. He had an enduring willingness to lend anyone a helping hand and a special love for children. His childlike heart and free spirit resonated with all kids.
Darien was tragically taken from us too soon. Struggling with untreated mental health issues, he made some regrettable choices. However, it is important to note that these choices do not define him or his character. Beneath the surface was a loving, kind, and free-spirited man. His departure is a tragic reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and treatment.
Darien's mother, Michelle Byron, his sisters Shaunna, Ashley, Kelsey, Christa, and Kaylen survive him, holding close memories of a son and brother whose absence is deeply felt. We honor Darien's memory and cherish the moments of laughter, love, and joy he brought into our lives. His spirit will always live on in the hearts he touched.
