On September 23, 2025 surrounded by love and laughter, Daria Golz fell asleep in death.

She was the youngest of 4 children to Ron and Mary Lanning.  She grew up in Brodhead, WI. She married Jonathan Golz on May 25th 1985. They lived in Osseo among great friends for 11 years at which time she and Jon then moved back to Brodhead.

First and foremost, Daria was a faithful servant of her Father, God, and friend, Jehovah. She was known to share the Bible truths that were close to her heart with any that were curious.  She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 14th 1980.  

Daria loved to foster kittens and cats for the humane society. Her skills as a Certified Medical Assistant and her deep-seated compassion made her a wonderful foster volunteer.

She dealt with physical limitations for many decades. Even when she couldn’t join the party, she loved it when her friends were being entertained at her home. Whether it was a few cooks in her kitchen or friends around the fire, hearing her friends’ laughter always warmed her heart.

We can’t wait to round the corner and welcome her back.
