Darcy Rocheleau Aguilar, 47 of Cassel California passed away on May 2, 2021 in Burney California from pneumonia. Darcy was born in Newport Vermont on March,14, 1974 the daughter of Louis (Bill) Rocheleau and Janet Appleby Robinson. She attended elementary school in Hardwick and Junior High at Hazen Union in Hardwick, Vt . Darcy graduated from High School in Henderson Nevada and Culinary School in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991
While living in Vermont Darcy danced with the Walcott Ballet in high school she was on the dive team. Darcy loved to cook. Darcy worked in accounting at Ford Country Motors in Henderson Nv. Darcy moved to Redding, California with her partner Scott Nygard where they raised 3 children, Victoria, Oscar and Ryan. There she worked for LKQ and LIthia Chevrolet for many years before moving to Burney Ca. Darcy was well known and loved in the area where she raised her children and took care of many teenagers who needed a place to go. Nothing gave her more joy than helping others. Darcy was predeceased by her father Bill Rocheleau and Scott Nygard. She is survived by her mom, Jan Robinson and her husband Don, by her sister Tara , by Her children Victoria and her partner Brandon W., Oscar and his wife Megan, Ryan and his wife Bailey, Brandon E., Jordan and Tori Carter, Cord and Autumn Leeka, Gabby and Eric. Her Nieces and Nephews, Jasmine, Jessica, Elijah, Sydney, Jacob. Aunts and uncles, Cathy and Bruce Mayo of Vermont, Jane and Marcel Comtois of Florida, Gordon Appleby of Washington DC, John Appleby of Maryland, Julie Desjardins of Nevada,Adoptive dad Michael Forant of N. C.,and her partner John Thompkins of Cassel California who loved and cared for her until her passing.
Everyone who knew her will miss her energetic spirit and never ending bright smile. We will keep her in our hearts forever. Her funeral date will be Sept. 11, 2021, place tbd. Will update closer to the time.
