Dante Tajir Morrison, 30, of Rochester, NY died unexpectedly on June 19, 2023. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Dante was born on April 20, 1993 to Chris and Caroline Morrison in Rochester, New York. Dante graduated from Bishop Kearney High School and earned his bachelor’s degree at LeMoyne college. He was passionate about helping people and worked as a Direct Support Specialist for Heritage Christian Services for almost three years where he cared for developmentally disabled adults. He joined the NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) shortly before his death. 

Anyone who knew Dante knew that he was a kind, loving, smart, charismatic young man who loved his family. He had an immense passion for art, our solar system, and he was an avid sneaker collector. He loved to share his passion for our solar system with his oldest daughter and was a beloved father to all of his four children.

He was polite, well mannered, and always kept a smile on his face. He was a constant source of positivity to those around him . Dante’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
